JOB DESCRIPTION:
Deliverables of the Role
· The
Systems Executive is expected to learn and own relevant business
processes in depth, to be able manage & support the IT applications.
Ensuring smooth functioning and constantly striving towards improving
existing IT applications within his portfolio are key and will
ultimately increase performance of the business processes.
· The
person should be able to display business partnering traits, whereby
he/she manages business stakeholders, bridges the gap between technology
and business need and anticipates future needs. He/She should be able
to inspire confidence among the Business Users, and in turn the business
users should deem him/her as a very dependable member of their team
· A
Global Mindset to keep himself/herself abreast of the latest
developments in Technology is deemed to be essential. Innovative
application of the Technological advances to provide competitive edge
would be strongly appreciated in this role.
· He/She
may be responsible for managing and driving rollout of new Business
Applications -> requirements, design, development, testing,
deployment, roll-out, support transition and business acceptance to
end-users across HUL. For this sizeable responsibility, he would be
required to lead a team of consultants diligently towards effective
project & service delivery to the business.
· Rigour
in terms of project execution, vendor management, process hygiene and
command over technology are deemed to essential for this role.
Required Professional skills
· The
candidate should have a deep understanding / experience of business
processes in a mid/large Indian company (FMCG is a preference), in terms
of hands-on working or deploying IT solutions for the business
processes.
· Exposure
to ERP, Planning engines would get better consideration in addition to
developed applications & strong skills on MS-Office / Excel.
· He/She
should have very good awareness of the latest IT technologies relevant
to business, and have the bent of mind to explore the same for
suitability for deployment in a business scenario.
· The
Systems Executive will be assisting a Systems Manager in managing
multiple vendors for the development & support of IT applications.
· The candidate should be capable of handling a large set of users (around 50 ~ 300 users).
· There could be occasional travel involved to different locations in India

Required Experience
· B.E., B.Tech., M.C.A, with a minimum of 01 – 03 years working experience in IT or/and Business.
Experience
in Supply Chain as a business function, SAP as an ERP technology,
and/or FMCG as an industry may get better consideration.
