Job Details

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to multitask in order to facilitate the resolution of multiple incidents at any given time with the vision to automate in order to better scale and streamline process.

Minimum Job Qualifications (these are minimum qualifications REQUIRED for this position)

An Engineering Degree or equivalent
Knowledge of the UNIX operating environment with the ability to navigate, manipulate and understand the file structure.
Knowledge of basic Unix / Linux diagnostic tools and commands
Understanding TCP/IP network environment
Requires successful completion of level 2 security clearance
Willing to work in Bangalore, India OC.

Preferable Job Qualifications

Prior experience working in a Technical Call Center, NOC or equivalent environment.
Certification such as CCNA, RHCT or equivalent are a plus
Knowledge of DNS, NFS, TCP/IP and other internet protocols
Knowledge of languages such as shell and Perl
Ability to effectively communicate in English via phone and in writing
Experience working with network management systems and other industry standard NOC tools (i.e. Netcool, Nagios, HPOV, Patrol…)
Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in order to handle multiple tasks in a real-time environment
Effective touch typing for processing critical real time events
Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies within a dynamic environment
